Introduction

What Warden does for a creator, and where each part of it lives.

Warden watches the public places your 3D designs are sold, finds the listings that look like yours, and puts in front of you only the ones a person has to decide. For those, it prepares the case and the notice. It also holds your commercial licensing records, so a seller you licensed is read as one and their customers can check their license on a public page.

How it works

  1. Your library

The designs Warden looks for: titles, names, pictures and file names. Never the model files themselves. See Library.

  2. Swarm looks

You start the first check yourself, at the end of setup. Once your organization's checks are scheduled, Swarm keeps searching the places you have switched on and records what it finds, including what it could not check. See Swarm scans.

  3. Most of it settles without you

A listing that is really yours, or one you have already seen, is resolved with its reason written down. What is left waits in Review.

  4. You decide

An investigation shows what Warden found, what it could not verify, and what your own rules say, one rule at a time.

  5. Warden prepares the paperwork

Where every ground holds, you can have it prepare an enforcement package and a notice written from it. You send it. See Actions.

What Warden will not do

  • It takes no model files and hosts none. Pictures and names only.

  • It never calls a seller unauthorized because it holds no record of them. A permission it was not told about is still a permission.

  • It sends nothing on its own. A person presses the button that acts, every time.

  • It does not publish what it searches on or how it weighs what it finds, here or anywhere, because a seller would write listings around it.

Words

Warden uses a small set of words precisely. Needs you, resolved, covered, possible conflict and needs evidence each mean one thing, and the glossary says what. The bar at the foot of every page answers the same questions.
