Registration deadlines

Give new sellers time to register, and tell Warden the date you gave a particular shop.

Some findings reach Needs you partly because the shop is not one your members registered. Many creators give a new seller time to register before anything else happens. Warden shows that time on the finding as In grace until and a date. The finding stays in Needs you either way, and once the date passes it reads like any other.

A date comes from one of two places.

Your setting

In Commercial, under Registration grace, an admin sets how many days a new seller has, from 1 to 365. Leave it empty for none. Warden counts the days from the first time it put that shop in Needs you. This needs no integration.

A date your server sends

If your own system already tracks a deadline per shop, for example from the day you wrote to the seller, send it and Warden uses your date instead of counting.

  1. Make a key with the scope

In Make a key, tick Can also send shop registration deadlines. A key made without it cannot send deadlines, and answers 403 with scope_not_granted. An existing key keeps what it could do before.

  2. Send each shop's date

One request carries up to 500 shops, named by the shop's own page. Send shop registration deadlines has the fields.

  3. Send again when it changes

Sending a shop again replaces its date. Send null to clear one, such as when the seller registers or you withdraw the offer.

What a date does not do

It never moves a finding out of Needs you, and it is not a statement that the shop has or lacks permission. Registration itself is what your member records say: a shop that registers shows up in the records you send, and Warden reads it as one of your members from then on. A deadline holds no person and no contact detail, only the shop and dates.
